The board of the Future Friendly Fund foundation values transparency. We want everyone who donates or is involved to clearly see what we do and how the money is spent. On this page, we show our policy and our financial standing.
Our Policy
We deliberately choose projects that often find it difficult to secure funding in the current market because they are new, exciting, or not immediately profitable. But that’s exactly where change begins, and we want to contribute to that.
Revolving Fund
The Future Friendly Fund is an independent, non-profit endowment fund. All proceeds flow back to the foundation, allowing us to reinvest repeatedly in new impact projects. We call this a revolving fund: money that keeps flowing and continuously creates impact.
- We support innovative solutions that help make aviation more sustainable. Think of electric aircraft, e-fuels, and retrofit technology.
- We support projects that protect and restore nature. From reforestation to protecting vulnerable ecosystems.
Funding
At the Future Friendly Fund, every euro of your donation goes directly to the projects. The board members receive no salary and work on a voluntary basis. Fixed costs, such as administration and accounting, are covered by a donation from travel organization
ANBI Status
The Future Friendly Fund foundation is an ANBI (Public Benefit Organization). This means that the foundation meets the conditions for public benefit organizations and that donations to the foundation are tax deductible. Here you can read more about tax benefits for donations.

Reporting
Our plans for the next five years can be found in our Policy Plan 2025 – 2030. On this page, starting one year after the launch in January 2025, we will report annually on our activities and financial situation.
